A season built around real life
Three qualifiers each week, October 1–December 8. Mostly evenings, with Sunday afternoons and a few early weekday starts. Enter as many as you like. Your highest ten event scores form your season total; attendance bonuses reward racers who keep showing up.
Pro .400 Tree. Shared .200 rollout. No delay box. Single-hit, single-elimination pairings, with up to 64 racers per event. Existing room-entry and staging deadlines apply.
Registration alone is not attendance. Enter your assigned race room and be ready to race. If you can’t make it, withdraw before entries lock.
A prize at every qualifier. Cash prizes at the RTCA World Finals. Prize details and amounts will be announced later.
Join RTCA free for all of 2026. No card or payment details required. Read and accept the participation rules, then enter your races. Beginning January 1, 2027, continued membership will require a paid renewal. Pricing and renewal details will be announced in advance. Season 1 points
Earn 10 points for attendance and 10 for each bracket round advanced. Add 20 for the event win or 10 for runner-up.

Smaller fields have fewer rounds to advance: a 32-car champion earns 80, a 16-car champion earns 70, an 8-car champion earns 60. Byes and opponent forfeits count as advances for racers who attend. Reruns never count twice.
21 or more qualifiers: +20 points.
All 30 qualifiers: another +30.
That’s a maximum 50-point attendance bonus, added to your best-ten total. Dropped event scores still count toward attendance. Signing up without entering your race room earns no attendance credit.
Best 10 event scores + attendance bonus = season points.
Ties use a comparison of the ten counted scores, highest first. A remaining tie affecting the top-16 cutoff requires a race-off before the Finals field is confirmed.
Know the difference
Officially approved by RTCA, run under its rules, and recorded as RTCA results. Only an RTChallenge administrator can grant the RTCA sanction.
Sanctioned does not automatically mean points-paying. Only events specifically designated as Season 1 qualifiers count toward this season. World Finals is sanctioned but awards the championship, not extra regular-season points.
Member-organized races using the RTChallenge event tools. They have their own brackets and results and appear in regular event records.
They do not count toward RTCA series points or RTCA sanctioned wins unless officially approved and, for points, assigned to the series. Putting “RTCA” in an event name does not make it sanctioned.
